Scene 1 :
It was 11.45 in the morning, Abhimanyu was rushing for the lunch, Hits was still staring at the water & was not sure whether he would prefer taking bath or not. Aunty was serving hot chapatis & we were on verge of leaving for college. It was July & just the initial season of rains. All of a sudden a drizzle of rains & the entire scene was changed. A little rains & no college now. All set for a movie show at home. Abhi , opened the collections of DVDs & selected the movie & we started a late lunch movie show. Hits was also happy as his bath was postponed for some hours. Full afternoon movie & then outing. This was a day of our graduation life.
Scene 2 :
Early morning 7.00 , Abhi kicking on the bums of Hits to bring newspaper to read. Waking up with ease, getting ready for 8.00 clock class. Reaching college at 8.05 or 10 or 15, depending upon the lecturer. . Two lectures & oh god it was too much of college. Coming home or roaming out. Then lunch & all set for project work. Welcoming approximately 15 people at flat, turning the flat into a small village of buddies. Almost 10 laptops working at home, most of them downloading some songs or movies or busy surfing on social networking sites. Hardly 3 sincere project workers, 3-4 busy preparing food for the crowd & rest all in their own world. Working the same way till late night, landlord getting angry but mattering the least to the crowd & to three of us. This was a typical day of our MBA life.
Scene 3 :
Waking up @ 7.30 in the morning. Hell lot of hang over of previous day. A disturbed mind with lots of confusion & lots of pressure of the day. Going for running. Reading newspaper & discussing today's probable stock market move. Rushing to office & taking a breakfast in hurry in the fear of a late swipe in at office. Full day mails & fights, late office sittings & coming home with dissatisfaction. Fear of the same routine the next day. Dinner, big boss & sleep. This is the typical & the most common day of any corporate human being.
Life definitely changes, the life 5 years back was much different. It was much peaceful & much easy going life. But this life has money & status. Unfortunately no time to spend such hardly earned money. This actually is the real & the biggest Irony of life. We human beings are the biggest hypocrites & situation oriented, we forget to assess & understand the real happiness of life. We say that we hate such life but we keep on digging ourselves deeper & deeper into it. We don't like our office life getting disturbed by any external factor, whether it's a wedding of a close relative or someone's deteriorating health at home or an outing/trip planned by a buddy. No doubt we don't miss a business trip or a company outing, because we have to attend it by compulsion.
We have to bring changes on a routine basis, we have to come out of our shell. We must come out of work. Because work is just a part of life , it's not the life.We must bring small small changes in life which can make us happy. It's a real stress buster !!! We can relate & understand it from our own past life. We were much happy because college life had change on a daily basis. Change is really inevitable & positive for us.
The week was full of changes & the coming week will bring about even bigger changes. Because now I, myself is understanding the importance of change & allowing it to drive in my life & trying to adopt it. As it brings about growth & refreshes our mind.
One of the changes is the absence of Big Boss season 6 at 9 PM from now onwards. At the end of the season, loved the results, truly wished the defeat of Mr Imam & fortunately it happened. A wonderful & very entertaining show has come to an end.
With such philosophical note , I wish to close my day & my week. Monday is Uttarayan & then again a new week will commence.
Good night & Have a happy & safe Uttarayan.
Rgds,
